Why did you start a membership program?

The BOP Membership Program directly funds BOP’s Shell Collection Program which provides the project with reef substrate in the form of reclaimed oyster shells from NYC restaurants. Our goal for the membership is to create a stronger community amongst BOP supporters and connect them to our NYC restaurant, oyster farm, and program partners. Members can celebrate the Billion Oyster Project all year round!  

Can I buy membership as a gift?

Yes, please let us know the end user of the membership when purchasing.

How do I redeem my benefits?

Members will receive a member pack in the mail. To use oyster vouchers, members must present one of their 5 vouchers at a participating restaurant to redeem an oyster plate.

What do I receive with membership?

Each member will receive a BOP membership pack with vouchers and a host of member benefits.

Terms and Conditions of Benefits

*Tax and gratuity not included. Valid with purchase. Only one voucher can be used per visit. Participating restaurants subject to change. This is an annual membership expiring one year from purchase date.

**A minimum of four seats will be reserved for members at each Social. First come, first serve basis.
